HIDDEN/SUDDEN/STEALTH MODES
To activate Hidden mode (arrows disappear halfway up the screen) press U, D, U, D. Repeat this code twice for Sudden mode (arrows appear halfway up the screen), three times for Stealth mode (no arrows!).
DIRECTION
To turn the arrows 90 degrees to the left, press L, L, L, L, L, L, L, L, L. To turn the arrows 90 degrees to the right, press R, R, R, R, R, R, R, R, R. To turn the arrows 180 degrees, press L, R, L, R, L, R, L, R.
FLAT MODE
To change the appearance of quickstep arrows so they match the regular arrows, press L, L, L, R, R, R, L, R. This makes quicksteps harder to read.
LITTLE MODE
To remove all quicksteps from a song, press L, D, R, D, L.
SHUFFLE MODE
To randomize the steps of a song (but not the position of rests), press U, D, L, R, D, U, R, L.

NOTE: I wonder if they had some copyright problems with some of the American songs…note the absence of all Olivia Project and KC & the Sunshine Band songs. Not to mention no "Smoke," no "Wonderland," no "Flashdance"...you don't suppose those remakes weren't properly licensed (Bad Konami!) from the American artists for release in the US? If so, how come "So Many Men" is here? I'd much rather have "Flashdance…"
ANOTHER NOTE: "Boom Boom Dollar" is missing too…and for some reason is in the "Covers & Classics" course on 4th Mix…is it a remake? No one I asked has ever heard it before…
ONE LAST NOTE: Where are "Butterfly" and "Butterfly (Upswing Mix)?" How can they leave out arguably THE two most popular songs in the series?!
SCORING
This scale is the same as the one from 4th Mix/Solo. It's identical to the other scale, only S is replaced with AA, SS with AAA, and SSS with AAAA. Go to

DIFFICULTY LEVEL
The difficulty levels have changed in this mix. Rather than Basic-Trick-Maniac, the levels are Standard-Difficult-Expert and are chosen from a difficulty level screen like in 4th Mix. To access Expert mode, you have to press R four times. There is also a new level, Beginner, accessible from the difficulty level screen, in which all songs are ranked Simple. Rather than the character dancing in the background, he/she is shown on the dance pad doing the steps so you can follow along.
